Sophie got to meet her Great-Grandmother!

We headed to my Meme's house on Good Friday early in the morning. We spent the day with family that Sophie has never met, stayed over night, took Meme out to lunch, and then headed back home today to get ready for the Easter bunny to come tomorrow! It was a long trip to make in 2 days (4 hours each way) but it is always important to introduce a Great Grandmother to her new great grand baby!
We had a good time but are happy to be back home!
Man is it hard to travel with 3 kids---one being almost 4 months old!
HAPPY EARLY EASTER!

I AM A WINNER!

Glow in the Dark Easter Eggs

How to Make Glow in the Dark Easter Eggs
Simple easy to do guide to making your Easter egg hunt fun and more memorable.

Steps
Take regular plastic Easter eggs and fine grit sand paper and sand the plastic Easter eggs lightly.
Pour 8 ounces of waterbase acrylic varnish into a plastic cup and add 2 oz of GloNation.com's, glow in the dark powder.
Mix well.
With a craft brush paint the eggs and allow to dry.
You can choose from 8 different glow colors they can glow up to 15 hours.
Place all the eggs under a black light 10 minutes prior to hiding. This will charge the glow pant you painted on. Place in the back yard at night.
Watch the kids have a ball.

Tips
Make fun hats for the kids by painting the mixture on paper hats.
Paint on old t-shirts too.

Mommy's and shopping

Alot of times I will hit Walmart at late night hours just to have a couple hours of shopping without anyone interfering. I love to go like on a Friday or Saturday night and be gone for a few hours while Mark is home with the girls sleeping.
Tonight mom and I hit Walmart around 9. You would not believe how many other moms I saw there that I know that were doing the same thing. Hilarious how many other moms have the same idea I have about getting excited about such a small thing as getting to go to Walmart ALL BY MYSELF!
Have fun shoppping fellow Mommies!

THE LAST BIG BANG!

After church and lunch today, we decided to have one more fun outing before starting back to work and school. We went to the museum here at Baylor.

The song on here has been our 'theme song' for the week. We have listened to this song so much that I bet if Sophie could talk she would be singing it along with all of us!
