Jesus, he is always there...

Madalyn is USUALLY quite the aspiring artist. She has made some amazing pictures. We have been told by her teachers and others how great she is for her age and compared to the others her age. Sometimes she will just quickly scribble something down just to get more done faster. This was one of those drawings. Although she didn't take her time drawing it, she did take her time with the meaning of the picture.
According to Madalyn, the heart person on the left is her daddy and he is sad because he has to leave us and go to work. The person on the right is me, her mommy, and I am happy because I get to stay home and play with her and Loraly all day. The person in the middle of us is Jesus because he is with us all the time to keep us safe and happy no matter what we are doing or where we have to go.

Girly Girls movie day...

So my mom, my niece, Madalyn, Loraly, and I just got home from seeing the new movie "Hairspray". I recommend it for a girls day out! It was fun, now the guys would HATE it. SO if you are up to a girls day out and want to catch a movie---this is a good one.

8 YEARS!

Today is Mark and my 8 year wedding anniversary. Can you believe it?! 8 years goes by quicker than you think. It feels like just yesterday that we got married and moved into this very same house that we still live in! Oh yea---except for the fact that we have 2 children, and a big belly soon to be our third child.

Ok---enough mushiness---HAPPY ANNIVERSARY MARK---I LOVE YOU!

Look what I found in Sophie's CRIB! (and Loraly swimming)

Loraly is our little fish. She is an awesome little swimmer! She goes completely under without holding her nose, closing her eyes, or closing her mouth. She swims from one end to the other. We are pretty amazed because Madalyn just started doing this also this summer, which she is a very good swimmer also as longs as she is holding her nose just like her mommy!
We would love to be able to find a swimming team or something for kids because Loraly is AWESOME!
Her are couple pics of her swimming:
This first picture is Loraly holding onto Mark's neck as he swims underwater in the deep end. She loved it and was doing it over and over! She would come up smiling every time!

Loraly had just come up from under water. She doesn't take a smile off her face the entire time she is swimming! This last picture is Loraly swimming in the deep end of our pool obviously with no floaties and ALL BY HERSELF. Mark was about 3-4 feet away from her but still she was determined to do it by herself.

We cleaned house today and were getting ready for company this afternoon, and the girls were no where to be found. I finally found them in none other than Sophie's crib!
Yes---they were both lying in there playing.

22 weeks pregnant: The Ups and Downs

Well another doctors appointment with all the great ups and downs. My blood work came back normal, so that's a blessing! I gained a horrible 6 pounds!!! I guess I was making up for the last 5 months when I didn't gain hardly anything. Overall I have gained 11 pounds so not TOO bad. The doctor did say that I have a low lying placenta. He is going to recheck that in a couple months. He never seems too worried about anything which makes me happy but me being a worrywart worries anyway. So that is about how the appointment went and now I get to look forward to the wonderful glucose test next month!

Sophie's Bedding----FINALLY!

Well, I must say that I am quite the shopper! I always hunt out a GREAT bargain. We have been looking for baby bedding since before I knew what I was having. I didn't really look for girl bedding because for me it is very easy to pick out! But for a boy I seem to have quite a problem picking things out. Good thing it is a GIRL! So I found this bedding at BabiesRUs.com and loved it! We were going to buy it in a few weeks because we still had some other baby things to buy like a dresser, new car seat, etc. and the bedding cost $229. So I started looking on eBay for other bedding that I liked just as much. I found the exact same bedding from Babies R Us for only $59.00 and it was brand new!!! The lady I bought it from had found it at a store that was closing down. She bought it for $149.99 and originally was selling it on eBay for $169.99. No one bought it so she relisted it for $59.00! After shipping I paid $87 for it! I am so excited about it! Anyways after waiting for almost 2 weeks to receive it in the mail, it finally arrived today!!!

Ok--the car seat story---my infant car seat that we have had since Madalyn was born was stored in the attic along with lots of other baby stuff. A few weeks ago we pulled it all down to start cleaning it all up before I was too big to really get down and dirty. The car seat, swing, bouncy seat, jumper, and a few other things were RUINED! I was so depressed! Not only was it sad because I was going to have to spend more money on stuff that I have, but it was sentimental also because they were both Madalyn and Loraly's. So needless to say I look constantly on eBay for great car seat deals also! Wish me luck!
