Another 1st!

Sophie reached for me today!

I love being home with her because I get to experience all these fun firsts. Unfortunately for Mark, he just gets to hear about them over the phone! He tried all night last night to get her to giggle at him with no luck!

She is, along with everyone else, congested again. I have started the breathing treatments again, along with Robitussin and tylenol. Not fun...hopefully we can get better soon!

Sock-rice Babies and giggling...

Madalyn's 1st grade class was learning about weight and measurements. So they did a project on their weights when they each were born. We had to send in a TEN pound bag of rice, their weight, length, birthdate, and skin color. OK-I don't know about all the other first graders but mine could not carry in her back pack, lunch box, water bottle, and a ten pound bag of rice! Today she got to bring home her sock baby stuffed with rice to . It came along with a birth certificate and everything!

So cute!

By the way Sophie giggled for the first time this afternoon at ME! I was laughing at her and she started chuckling every once in a while back at me!

Loraly was VERY fussy last night so I put her to bed right after supper (6 ish) just expecting her to sleep about an hour. She slept all the way till 7 this morning!

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

Date Night...

I was cooking supper tonight and Madalyn was setting the table. She told me that Loraly and her were going to eat at their small table and Mark and I were eating at the dinner table because she was making us a date! She set the table, laid "dress" clothes out for us to wear, and even lit a candle on the table for us! She was quite upset when we asked them to sit with us because we wanted to share our date night with them. She was so sweet and thoughtful to think of us and by making a perfect date for Mark and I! Loraly even told us Happy Valentine's Day!
