I HEART anything personalized!

Mark's boss had this burp cloth and bloomers made for Sophie. Aren't they adorable?! And guess what--she didn't even know that I had done everything for Sophie in pink and green! She is awesome!

This is where Sophie has been since around 9:15 this morning. She almost went back to the ER last night around 10. She had her vaccinations done Wednesday and she has not been anywhere near herself since then. She has been FUSSY, won't eat, won't sleep, and isn't consolerable when upset. I called the on call doctor and he said to go ahead and take her to the ER and get some blood work done just to make sure everything is ok. But as we were watching her last night after that, she went to sleep FINALLY, and was asleep from then until 2 this morning, and as of this morning she has been an angel and pretty much normal. So we will continue to watch her through the weekend and if she doesn't seem better then we will head to the doctor Monday.

Sophie got a new pair of shoes!

Don't you just love these?! I also got a pair for my friend Lacy's little boy-Josiah. Sophie's are a little too big still, but hopefully she will be able to wear them soon because they are just too cute to be sitting in the closet!

Loraly asks...

After dropping off Madalyn at school this morning, Loraly asked me a very sweet question: "Mommy, is Jesus in Heaven with Paul?" I answered yes; then she asked another question "Is Jesus taking care of Paul in Heaven?" I again answered YES.
I wonder what what going through this little 4 year old's mind this morning...

2 month doctors appointment!

Goodness---has it already been 2 months since I had my baby?!
It seems like yesterday! Everyday new day with her is another gift from God! She is a wonderful baby. She smiles, talks, sleeps really well (we won't talk about last night!), is growing, loves her sisters, and I couldn't have asked for a more sweet, beautiful baby!

So her stats:
weight: 12 pounds even! 60% percentile
length: 23 1/4 inches! 65 % percentile

She has grown about 4 1/2 pounds and almost 4 inches! WHat a big girl.
We are loving every new day with Sophie!

Sophie trying out and loving her sling! When I lay her down in it, she goes straight to sleep!
Sophie's first 'sponge bath' at 3 days old. Notice how skinny she is?!
Sophie taking a bath at 9 weeks 1 day old! She is getting rolls, a double chin, and some cheeks!

Fortune Cookies

We went to eat Chinese food tonight--first time in about a year. We love Chinese food but while I was pregnant, I couldn't even stand the smell much less the taste! So Mark and the girls were thrilled that I finally offered to eat there!
After we ate, the waitress brought us fortune cookies--mine itself was pretty lucky because there were 2 in the package!
Madalyn opened hers and read it aloud--'Someone you know loves you very much!'
She then said "Oh NO!" Mark and I were stunned---"What is it," we both asked?
She said "It must be Braden at school!"
"What must be Braden?", we asked. She then explained to us that her fortune cookie said that someone loves her very much, and I told her that it was talking about her daddy and me! She said no, it is talking about Braden in her class! because he always chases her and when he catches her, he just stares at her! I told her it is because he thinks she is so pretty!
She giggled!
MY DAUGHTER THINKS THAT A LITTLE BOY LOVES HER!
What is up with these 1st graders?!

Mommy and me

I don't really care to see myself in pictures but I love a picture of a sweet, sleeping baby!
