My last but not least
*Madalyn taught me how to be a Mommy. To love, care, and want to give my life for her.
*Loraly taught me patience, nurturing, and resiliency. She is so exciting to be around!
*Sophie taught me joy. She is the light of my life, my sunshine on a rainy day. Such a blessing!
*Reese is my angel. I never knew I wanted another baby girl until God placed her in my womb, and then in my arms on September 10, 2009. She is awesome, loving, sweet, perfect in every way!

December 2, 2007
I dreamt, prayed, hoped, and begged for another baby. I had Madalyn, my oldest, most beautiful, sweet, innocent, and sensitive daughter. Then had Loraly, my rambunctious, silly, caring, most loving 2nd daughter. I so wanted to experience that all again and give them a baby. After waiting 15 months, I was finally pregnant! I didn't care what the gender was, I just so wanted to have that baby in my arms. So on December 2, 2007, Sophie Annabelle came into our lives! She has been such a blessing to all 4 of us. Each has their own special bond with her. She is so loving, loves to cuddle, smart, witty, ticklish, adores her sisters, is a total Daddy's girl, and loved by all! Sophie's favorite things right now are Elmo, Lightening McQueen from Cars, Abby Cadabby, her Daddy, coloring, following her big sisters around, and loving and being a big sister to Reese!
We are so blessed to have Sophie in our lives, and thank God each and every day we get to spend with her!
Happy 2nd birthday SOPHIE!

Reese's surgery
We had a pretty eventful week a couple ago. Mark's parents were up for a visit and we were heading out for lunch with them. I went to change Reese's diaper and I noticed a lump on her groin. I called Mark to look at it. We definitely agreed that it needed to be checked out. She was having her 2 month appointment the very next day.
So I took her into the doctor had him check out her hernia in her belly button, and then the groin area. He agreed that it needed to be looked at further. He was going to send us to a ultrasound tech the next day and the surgeon the next week...
I didn't want to wait that long and I didn't want a doctor that I just met doing surgery on my daughter.
So I was heading to Waco for my sisters surgery anyway, decided to make an appointment with our doctor there. We saw him, he sent us within the hour to his surgeon friends office, they did an ultrasound, and sent us immediately to the hospital where an OR room was waiting for us!
IT WAS CRAZY!
She went into surgery about 3 hours after our appointment with our doctor! She ended up having 3 hernias that were corrected. One was partially obstructed.
And about 2 hours later the doctor came out and said everything went great (just had a problem getting her IV in, so she was all bruised up).
I got to go see her in recovery, but she was sleeping. A friend from dance class was her nurse so I know she was well taken care of!
My sister had surgery the next morning so it was a whirlwind 12 hours!
We spent the next day in the hospital and came home late that night.
Reese is doing great now and is totally different--happy, smiling, sleeping better, eating better, and just like a 10 week old baby should be!
I am very thankful for the amazing doctors and surgeons that took care of her and took time out of their schedule to take such good and quick care of her!
IT WAS A MIRACLE!
Well the pictures uploaded in the complete backwards order...this first picture is of Reese coming home from the hospital after surgery.
This is when Reese was released and we visited my sister 4 doors down.
Right after they got her settled after surgery. They were giving her morphine for pain and it was scary. It gave her jitters, eyes rolling crazy, and terrors! She didn't eat for 11 hours straight! But around lunch the next day, she just all of a sudden came out of everything and was awake and alert. I was thankful because it was not fun watching her that way.Posted by Lindsay at 7:56 AM 0 comments
Loraly is 6!
I can't believe that my very vibrant, excited, happy, loud Loraly turned 6 last week! She started kindergarten this year and to say the least SHE LOVES IT! I am very proud of her! She adores her teacher, her sisters, and friends! She loves being a big girl and looks up to Madalyn so much! She is an awesome swimmer, a beautiful singer, and loves to love on the 21 little ones.
Happy 6th Birthday to my Loraly!

Weight: 8 pounds 5 ounces ( gained 1 pound 4 ounces since leaving hospital) 25%
Length: 20 1/4 inches (stayed the same as birth) 5%
