Butterflies?

I have officially felt the baby start moving now! How exciting is that?! The movements started on Thursday, which is when I was exactly 17 weeks. I go back to the doctor this next Thursday and we will see where are with everything then. Two weeks after that I was promised to have my ultrasound to determine if we are carrying a baby Luke (?possibly the name for a boy?) or a baby Sosie (Sophie actually for a girl but Loraly says Sosie, cute huh?). The girls are getting excited about the baby finally. I think Loraly doesn't understand but when she hears big sister talking about it or pointing out cute baby items, she copies and goes along. Loraly does go around telling people that baby Sosie is in Mommy's tummy. I love taking them in the baby department at any store because they start pointing at things and saying "OHHHH Mommy look at this, isn't it soooo cute?!"

I will update more after my next doctors appointment.

My rocking chair...

I was leaving my house this morning and I noticed that my rocking chair was missing from my front porch. I have had that chair since I was pregnant with Madalyn. I bought it to put in her nursery, then we used it in Loraly's nursery. I put it on the front porch after that because we didn't have room for it anywhere in the house and it is actually an outdoor chair. But I was planning on cleaning it up and maybe painting it to put in the new baby's nursery! I can't believe that people can actually be so mean.
It is also very scary to think that someone can walk all the way up your sidewalk right next to your front door and steal something off your porch and you never hear a thing!
There are some really cruel and evil people out there!

LORALY THE PIRATE!

Arrrrr Matey!

NOT MUCH TO SAY PAST THE TITLE:
We were watching "Pirates of the Caribbean" a few weeks ago and Loraly kept making this face. I told her she looked like a pirate and that was the end of it! All you have to do is ask "Where is my pirate?" and the face comes out!
We definitely have a class clown on our hands!

Madalyn's 2007 Dance Recital

BALLET!
(this is a picture of Madalyn and her friend Alyssa. They started taking dance together 3 years ago and have been in the same class ever since!)

TAP!

Madalyn has had the same dance teacher since she started taking ballet/ tap 3 years ago-

Mrs. Meredith, WE LOVE HER!

Dance Recital June 2007

WOW---what a busy weekend we had! First Saturday from 8-1:30 we had a dress rehearsal, then Saturday evening at 7 we had a recital and didn't get out of there until 9:45! Then Sunday we had another recital from 2-4:15.

It is really amazing to watch your child grow at something that they love to do! Madalyn has really become an awesome dancer and really knows her stuff.

I can't wait to start Loraly this next year and watch her blossom.

2nd Doctor's Appointment

I had my second OB appointment today. I got to hear the heart beat; it has slowed down a bit.
170-9 weeks
156- 13 weeks
I gained 2 pounds since my last appointment! YEAH, I was super worried about this. When I was pregnant with the girls, I would always leave the doctor disappointed because I would gain like 6 pounds every month!!! I have a few things that we are going to be watching in my blood work but nothing to be too alarmed about right now.
I have one more appointment in 4 weeks and then 2 weeks later we will have a sonogram to find out what the baby is!!!
Any guesses?

On another note: Madalyn has already started dearly missing her Kindergarten teacher. She asks nearly everyday if she can go to her house! She remembers very well---when we left school the last day, her teacher told her that she was welcome at her house anytime she wanted to come over and play with her daughters. Maybe in a few days we will see about that!

Madalyn and her wonderful Kindergarten Teacher

Beginning or the school year!

Last Day of School!

Today was Madalyn's last day as a Kindergartner. Mark, Loraly, my parents, and me attended graduation and it was fun and a little sad. After the ceremony we went back to Madalyn's classroom and took pics with her teacher, told friends bye, and gave her teacher her present. The hardest part for me was when her teacher started telling Madalyn bye and started crying. I am getting teary eyed just writing about it. Of course after she started crying so did I. She then hugged me goodbye and said how wonderful Madalyn is and how much she will miss her!
Mark and I are so grateful for such an awesome teacher and the beginning to Madalyn's education she has given her! She will be a very hard teacher to follow next year in 1st grade!

We love you Mrs. H and will miss you!

Baby Names...

I have to write about the funniest baby name story ever to happen to us: we can't ever agree on a girl's name. I love Presley; Mark loves Trinity. So he has agreed on Presley but we can't come up with a middle name. Both of my other girls middle names are 4 letters long and end in an A. So I thought well, I have to keep this going even though we didn't even mean to start it. So here it goes: my friend Lacy and I were discussing middle names today and I asked for her help. I told her (it just came out of the blue) that I liked Presley Grace. She loved it also! So I emailed Mark and told him that I liked it. He emailed back and said "Great, everyone will call our daughter Elvis." It took a few minutes, but think on it...YES Graceland! Man am I an idiot! And if you know me I love Elvis and I have turned my girls into Elvis lovers also.
We even played an Elvis song as our processional in our wedding! HA

Back to the drawing board!
Any ideas???
