Such a teaser!

I was sitting on the couch tonight and I put a blanket under Mark's shirt to make his tummy look like Mommy's. I called Loraly over there and told her to look at Daddy's tummy. She then quickly turned and looked at me and asked if baby Sophie came out? and then looked at her Daddy and asked him if baby Sophie was in his tummy now!
HILARIOUS!
She had this totally shocked look on her face! PRICELESS!

Paul

Read the latest passage from Paul's dad: www.paulsaxon.com
It is heart wrenching and oh so beautiful at the same time.
Keep the prayers for them coming!

Did he say UNDERWEAR?

We were sitting in church this morning and the preacher said something----to my best knowledge I could not remember what he had just said because of what happened next.

Madalyn obviously was listening to him because she said in a regular tone voice----Did he just say UNDERWEAR? And it was quiet enough in church for others around us to hear her. I laughed inside for so long that I can't remember what exactly he was trying to say!

After the 1st day of school and the MOCK first day pic!

So Madalyn had a really good first day of school. I asked her what her teacher told them, and she said she couldn't remember because she told them too much!

She came home from school looking like this (AND STARVING):

So I finally got my around about first day of school picture with Madalyn and her teacher! You can kind of tell it is not the first day because Madalyn looks pretty tired, which she was!

1st day of 1st grade

Madalyn was up and awake at 6:30 all on her own this morning. She had breakfast, got dressed, we fixed her hair, and Mark took a picture of her. She looked absolutely beautiful! So we were heading out the door, got to school, and I told Mark to hold the camera because I was trying to take care of Loraly and hold Madalyn's hand. He informed me that he didn't bring it!!!! I was a little upset---to say the least. It was too late to go home and get it...So we went ahead and went in and dropped Madalyn off. She gave me a kiss, hugged her sister, and off she went! WITHOUT A PICTURE OF HER AND HER TEACHER ON THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL. I know, not that big of a deal, but I am such a memory type person. And I had looked forward to doing`this since the camera didn't work on meet the teacher night last week. SO I am having a hard morning but hopefully I can get one tomorrow morning and we can just pretend it was the first day of school picture. I am sure Madalyn has a much better day than mine started out...

THE MOST EXPENSIVE PIMPLE!

Sorry for the gross story today!
Madalyn was complaining Sunday that her ear was hurting. She had been swimming, had water in her ears, and decided to be like mommy and use a q tip to get the water out of her ear. I was sitting right with her as she was doing this---usually this consists of mainly wiping the q tip around the outside of her ear, nothing too serious!
She started crying!!! I asked her what was wrong, of course and I got a "MY EAR HURTS REALLY BAD!" So Mark and I immediately start to think that she put the q tip too far into her ear. So we got the flash light out and started looking in there. We saw a blob of something. Unsure of what it was, I proceeded with a q tip to see if I could get the blob out.
BIG MISTAKE!
She started crying and screaming again saying how bad it hurt. Too my surprise there was ooze and blood on the q tip! I was scared about what I could have done to her! We looked more and Mark seemed to think it was just a zit that one of us had popped as we were looking around in there.
So later last night we decided to look again before heading to the doctor today---still the same--big blob and a little ooze and blood.
So Monday morning off to the doctor we go----he looked and yes it was a PIMPLE! He said that as one of us had pulled on the back of the ear to look closer in there, the pimple must have popped, and that is what caused the ooze and bleeding.
It must have been one of those under the skin pimples that just hurts because she was in some serious pain!
So needless to say, I think we may have hit the most expensive pimple in the books!

THE BELLY!

What a difference 8 weeks makes!

The first picture is 18 weeks and the second is 26 weeks.

It is REALLY sticking out now!

Madalyn likes to rub it and starts chanting "Rub the lucky belly."

Loraly just gets upset because she doesn't quite fit into my lap anymore.

If they only knew how much BIGGER it really is going to get in the next 13 1/2 weeks!
