My hobby and The nursery preview

Since having children, I have found my hobby, obsession: birth announcements, birthday invitations, etc. I love coming up with ideas, figuring out wording, and seeing the final product. If you know me, then you know that I LOVE Mickey Mouse. Madalyn never cared much for the character, but Loraly has created an obsession with Minnie Mouse! I am so excited! I finally get to do a Minnie themed birthday party! So far all I have obsessed about are the invitations. So here they are:

We still haven't got the room set up otherwise I would post pictures of that also. Hopefully by the end of the weekend we will have it done.

2. How long have you been together? Married-8 yrs and 2 months, together for about 9 1/2 years

3. How long dated? About 7 1/2 months, and then engaged for 7 1/2 more months

5. Who eats more? depends---I am 32 weeks pregnant! JK-Mark, he loves to snack ALL DAY

6. Who said "I love you" first? I did, and he said thank God for saying it because he had been wanting to! But too shy!

9. Who is smarter? common sense-me, book smart-Mark

10. Whose temper is worse? that's easy---ME---hey I have red hair and you know what they say about red heads!

11. Who does the laundry? Me, Mark doesn't understand that lights CAN go in with some whites also!

12. Who takes out the garbage? depends on who remembers to!

13. Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? me, I don't like to be by the door

15. Who is better with the computer? Me, for the most part

16. Who mows the lawn? both, I really enjoy mowing!

18. Who drives when you are together? me and when the girls play Barbie's or whatever they ALWAYS put the "mommy" in the drivers seat because they are so used to me driving. I am such a passenger seat driver that it is easier for me just to drive. I get nervous when others drive.

19. Who pays when you go out? whoever gets to it first

20. Who is most stubborn? Mark is but he would say I was

21. Who is the first to admit when they are wrong? Mark, probably just to make me be quiet though

22. Whose parents do you see the most? mine, don't ask

23. Who kissed who first? Mark, after seeing each other everyday for almost 2 weeks!

24. Who asked who out? Mark, I would never ask someone out!

25. Who proposed? Mark, once again I would never!

26. Who is more sensitive? we both are on different subjects

27. Who has more friends? me, Mark is what I like to call a "troll"

28. Who has more siblings? we both have 3 kids in our families and we are about to have 3 ourselves, he is oldest and I am youngest

29. Who wears the pants in the family? that is funny-probably me most of the time, except when it is really important

I dare everyone to answer these questions, it is really fun getting to see the differences in other people and their relationships!

When we picked up Madalyn from school the other day and she saw Loraly's hair, she loved it! So ever since then she has been asking if she can have hers done also. She even asked me if I would do it before school this morning! So tonight we decided to do it.

Mark is going to kill me when he finds out! I told him we were going to MAYBE have it done this weekend but he said he didn't want to. She has real fine hair that has to have conditioner EVERY time you wash it or you will not be able to comb through it and I also have to use a detangling spray on it. She has had one hair cut before, a little over a year ago. Ever since then, her hair has taken off growing! I wanted to get the last of the baby hair off so that it can start growing more healthy and all one length.

26 weeks

30 weeks

Well, I couldn't stand not seeing exactly where the 8 pounds that I gained were---so I uploaded the pictures that my husband takes every month to figure it out! Looks to be that Sophie has grown!

30 weeks---10 more to go!

Or so we hope! Both of my girls were a week late so I am assuming just from previous experience that this one will be late also. So as to 10 more weeks, I don't know how true this will be in my case.
I went to the doctor this morning and I think that I may have beat everyone----I GAINED 8 POUNDS IN ONE, yes one, MONTH! Very depressing!!! The nurse practitioner came in and told me that I was the cutest thing! Well, I don't really feel all that cute right now especially after she told me how much I had gained. She then proceeded to ask me if there was anything that I had done different this last month-----YES--I have been getting up and walking after I drop Madalyn off at school!! and I also told her that my new favorite snack was powdered donuts! She said it would probably be best if I laid off those for a while! HA...
Later this afternoon my mom was telling me that her friend, whose daughter in law is pregnant also, is upset because she has gained a total of 7 pounds all together and I think she is around 21 weeks! I would love to have only gained that much especially in 21 weeks!
When the doctor came in, I told him can you believe it--8 pounds!? He said no problem because I look great and I have only gained a total of 24 pounds all together. Still very depressing...
Hopefully I can keep the weight gaining down to a minimum in the next 10 weeks!

Taking Pictures of my girls

So first of all Madalyn CAN take beautiful pictures but most of the time she gets this crazy awkward smile going on and can't get rid of it! Now Loraly on the other hand--to get a decent, GOOD picture of her is a rare day! Loraly has refused to go to the studio (any studio!) and take pictures since she hit 2 years old! So I usually have to take them at home or we go to the arboretum, or we will go to a studio that we love and she just has to crop and paste Loraly as best she can!
