You are the best friend anyone could ever have, you deserve the best things in life, and I am the luckiest mom in the world to get the pleasure of being your mother and watching you grow and grow!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Now I am sick...

I have this yucky stomach thing---tomorrow is Madalyn's surprise birthday party---am I going to be able to make it through it for her? It kind of hit me this afternoon after having lunch with Madalyn and taking her class zebra cupcakes. I have not gotten off or too far from the couch. Please pray that I can make it through the party feeling REMOTELY ok for my sweet 7 YEAR OLD MADALYN!

Tomorrow is Madalyn's 7Th birthday, so here she is dressed and ready for her birthday at school.

Of course Loraly had to get in on the action also.
And then Sophie had to be added.
This picture was taken a few days ago. Sophie loves to play in her playmat but I guess she had enough playing and decided to go to sleep.

Weird phone call...

Madalyn has to make a robot for school due Friday. So we have been working on it a little each night this week. We were all in the kitchen working on this robot as a family and the phone rang. I went to get it. I read the caller ID and did not recognize the name. I quickly said the name to Mark and asked if he knew them. He said no. So I went ahead and answered it and said "Hello." The man on the other end of the line said "Just wondering how PAUL was doing"---ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! What do you say to that? I sat there very quietly not really knowing what to say, then I said "I think you have the wrong number" and I overheard him telling someone in the background that apparently he had the wrong number...

When I hung up the phone, I told Mark what was said. And Madalyn spoke up immediately and said "Paul is doing GREAT because he is in Heaven where he will never hurt or get sick again!" Mark and I told her that she is right!

Sick little baby...The story of Sophie's life (unfortunately)

Well, Sophie has had a yucky nose, poor appetite, little fever, fussy, all the right symptoms except FEVER! Madalyn always ran REALLY high fever (106.4)!, Loraly never runs fever, and now Sophie had no fever. So of course I am thinking that she just has allergies and it will run its course. SO I have been giving her the decongestant that the hospital gave us when she had RSV. But it hasn't helped so far. So today I went ahead and took her to the doctor thinking that either he would tell us nothing was wrong, or to take her to the hospital (because it is Madalyn's SURPRISE birthday PARTY this weekend!--story on that later).

So the verdict is in---DOUBLE EAR INFECTIONS!

So pray for a healthy baby considering she is now on an antibiotic, decongestant, and Tylenol!

NEW FURNITURE!

Mark and I have NEVER had a new bedroom suite since we have been married

and July 31 will be 9 years! So we finally decided that it was time to get new stuff! We found this bedroom suite about 3 years ago and just now were able to get it!
