Sophie's Onesie!

I bought this onesie a while back and have been DYING for Sophie to be able to wear it!
Loving the name on the rear!!!! I loved this onesie so much I had to get her another one that is all hot pink! It is a size bigger so we will have something to look forward to!

Some of her latest tricks:
1. I coughed the other day and she copied me!
2. She is starting to play bashful!
3. She says who needs to roll over, I will just start crawling first! No, she isn't crawling yet! But I can lay her on the floor on her tummy in one direction and a few minutes later (a very short few minutes later) and she is facing the total opposite direction!
4. She giggles all the time and if she isn't giggling then she is definitely smiling!
5. She has tried almost all 1st foods vegetables and loves all of them!
6. She is blowing raspberries and bubbles CONSTANTLY!
I know there are more but this is what comes to mind while I sit here typing!
Have a happy, beautiful Saturday!
P.S. Mark loved the onesie so much he said he wanted one for himself!
HA--that would not be near as cute!

American Idol and Sophie

Here is Sophie watching Robin Williams on American Idol tonight.
Robin Williams must have said something funny!
Playing peekaboo!
You throw the blanket just barely over her face and she will start kicking her legs until she can see you again and then grins from ear to ear!

(not quite sure what is up with the hair over the ears but it is always like that! My dad has wavy hair so maybe she inherited some of that!)

Remember when I said I won something?

Well here it is:
Natalie did an awesome job with this one! I love the little turtle in the corner! She did a great job matching the green and pink to Sophie's room also!
THANKS A BUNCH NATALIE AND TRESSA!

Finding a treasure...

Madalyn and Paul loved to draw each other pictures.
Since Paul was in the hospital so much and they would not get to play very often, their way of communicating was to draw each other pictures and mail them to each other.
I was spring cleaning the girl's closets today and found this 'treasure'.

Sweet Madalyn...

(this pictures was taken last year-we haven't done blue bonnet pictures this year yet but aren't they already so beautiful?!)
Madalyn has always been our very sweet, easy-going, and people pleasing daughter. These traits can be very good to have and also very difficult to have.

Madalyn got a Junie B Jones Easter book for Easter last year. I have always wondered why she has NEVER read it. I got it out the other day and said why don't you read this book. Her response was no because it is called "Dumb Bunny." and since dumb is a bad word in our house and just not a nice word she refuses to read it.

So on Monday, the last day in March, we were talking about April fool's day. I was trying to explain to her what April fool's was about. She just couldn't understand. Mark explained it to her that it is a silly day where you can basically lie and not get in trouble. She understood him perfectly. UGH... Anyways she came home from school Tuesday and told me that she had told Mrs. R that she wasn't going to tell any lies on April fool's because it is not good to tell lies even if it is April Fool's day.
Another funny story about Madalyn: Loraly and her were playing with some doll house stuff the other day and Loraly asked Madalyn's doll where she got her house from. Madalyn's response was "eBAY".
I guess she gets that from her mommy...
Madalyn is so sweet, innocent, and I just love her way of thinking!

Sophie's 4 month check up

I took Sophie in today for her 4 month well baby check up.

Four months already--are you kidding me?! Where did my little bitty baby go!?

She now weighs 14.5 pounds and is 25 inches long. It is funny that when they are babies we say 25 inches long and then when they get older it is 40 inches tall! Anyways poor baby got 5 shots! I sure thought last

time she got shots he told me that she would only get 3 this time...man would that have been nice. That is the most horrible cry I think I have ever heard! She is in the 50-75 percentile for weight, height, and head circumference.

The girls bought these glitter mascara like sticks things that you run threw your hair and it puts glitter gel in your hair. So we decided to try it out on Sophie. It curled her hair up and you can kind of see the glitter specks in there.
