Can you get skinnier in a matter of minutes?

Mark and I joined the gym. He usually goes 4 days after work and at least once on the weekend. Honestly, I go when I can catch an hour to myself! No really, I usually go around 8-8:30 after I put Sophie down for bed. So last night Madalyn decided that she wanted to work out also. So I took her with me. SHE TALKED MY EAR OFF THE ENTIRE TIME! Sweet as can be, but you can't get a lot of working out done with a 7 year old constantly telling you how skinny her arms and legs are! A man walked by us and told her that she sure was working out hard!
So we cut our work out short and only worked out for 45 minutes instead of an hour. You should have seen that girl go on the elliptical machine!!! HILARIOUS! SO as we are walking out the door (mommy a little frustrated that she didn't get to work out as hard as she would have liked) Madalyn says "WOW, can you believe it Mommy, I am so much skinnier now that we worked out than before we got here!" and very loudly!!! Hey, at least she has the confidence to 'brag' on herself! (needless to say, I worked out alone tonight...)

Sophie has a new fave!

Sophie has been doing this for a few days. I guess it feels good on her teeth. I find her doing it all the time!
A new favorite: SWIMMING! Her legs go CRAZY!
Eating supper and hanging out outside after swimming.

GREAT NEWS!

SOPHIE HAS LEARNED TO CRAWL!
Her crawl is adorable! She moves her hands out, then tries sooo hard to get her legs, knees to do what they are supposed to but they kind of make a bunny hop!
AND SHE HAS HER 2 BOTTOM TEETH!
Yes, she got both at the exact same time! Obviously they are not noticeable for a picture yet, but when they are I will definitely get one posted!

Taking a new route on punishment

I am cleaning the house this morning. I try to get as much done as I can while Sophie takes her morning nap. The girls are arguing over who is going to play with which Groovy Girl doll. Loraly at one point came and asked me to take her to Target and get her a new one so they wouldn't fight over this certain one. SO I heard them yelling at each other. I went back there, got them quiet, and said "I just want you to know that God is watching you right now and it doesn't make him very happy when you fight with each other." As I left the room, Loraly said "God isn't in our room watching us, he is in Heaven!"

Misc.

This is a picture of a little girl from church and Madalyn's school. She is 3 years older than Madalyn. We have seen her at school, Target, church, Mother's Day Out, and music camp. Every time she sees Madalyn, she stops to tell her hi and always calls her by her name. It makes me smile from ear to ear that Madalyn is making friends at church and that they are including her as their friend!
Thanks Kolby!
This is best invention ever! I seem to put my babies in onesies to sleep. Sophie gets rather cold at night and wakes up. I found this 'sleep sack' blanket. It fits on her shoulders like any other shirt but zips down the front. It is made of fleece so she stays nice and warm all night. They even make them with feet holes for older, walking children.
This is a picture of Sophie flirting. She tilts her head sideways and it is the CUTEST THING EVER! If you look closely you can see the hair winging out over her ears. It is very sweet!

Paul and Madalyn's thoughts on the FAT Road

On the way to music camp today, we took a drive around the neighborhood by our church because we were around 20 minutes early. We went down this one street that was extremely wide. Like not normal wide.
No comments about the road---just keep it in mind for a minute.
I got a break from keeping my nieces today because my MIL was off work. So after music camp we took Kiley out to their house and the girls and I went to have lunch and some fun at Peter Piper Pizza (I know, I know--but you do what makes your kids happy...). So as we were wondering around having a good time playing games, I noticed a little boy around 7 lying on the ground. I tried hard to ignore him because obviously his parents were no where to be seen to make him mind! But he started army crawling around the games.
HE WAS DOING PAUL'S FAVORITE PASTTIME! He was looking for tokens and money for the games! I was already thinking of Paul because they had a couple parties there that we had attended. This certain little boy was chanting a song about "tokens, tokens, I want tokens!" He was an angel in DISGUISE that made me think about Paul.
To get back to the FAT street---tonight Madalyn was doing her nightly bible study, when she stopped and told me that her music camp teacher told her during bible study that the fat street lead to the DEVIL!!! What!? Was I going to have to talk to this teacher to find out what she is telling my daughter?! I was REALLY patient with Madalyn and just let her keep talking...She said that there was this big fat street that everybody goes down when they are bad that leads to the Devil but there was also a really skinny street that lead to Heaven! OH OK--NOW I GET WHAT SHE IS TALKING ABOUT...What a doe doe I am?! So I sat down with her and explained to her what the 'skinny street' and the 'big fat street' were all about.
Her comment when I was done talking was "Since we already found the big fat street that leads to the Devil, I want to go and find that skinny street that leads to Heaven when we get back from Disney World."
Tomorrow is the last day of music camp and then the performance tomorrow night! I will try to post some pictures of it when we get home. Also the girls have their dance recital this weekend! So I will DEFINITELY be posting some pictures of that also!
