On the way to music camp today, we took a drive around the neighborhood by our church because we were around 20 minutes early. We went down this one street that was extremely wide. Like not normal wide.
No comments about the road---just keep it in mind for a minute.
I got a break from keeping my nieces today because my MIL was off work. So after music camp we took Kiley out to their house and the girls and I went to have lunch and some fun at Peter Piper Pizza (I know, I know--but you do what makes your kids happy...). So as we were wondering around having a good time playing games, I noticed a little boy around 7 lying on the ground. I tried hard to ignore him because obviously his parents were no where to be seen to make him mind! But he started army crawling around the games.
HE WAS DOING PAUL'S FAVORITE PASTTIME! He was looking for tokens and money for the games! I was already thinking of Paul because they had a couple parties there that we had attended. This certain little boy was chanting a song about "tokens, tokens, I want tokens!" He was an angel in DISGUISE that made me think about Paul.
To get back to the FAT street---tonight Madalyn was doing her nightly bible study, when she stopped and told me that her music camp teacher told her during bible study that the fat street lead to the DEVIL!!! What!? Was I going to have to talk to this teacher to find out what she is telling my daughter?! I was REALLY patient with Madalyn and just let her keep talking...She said that there was this big fat street that everybody goes down when they are bad that leads to the Devil but there was also a really skinny street that lead to Heaven! OH OK--NOW I GET WHAT SHE IS TALKING ABOUT...What a doe doe I am?! So I sat down with her and explained to her what the 'skinny street' and the 'big fat street' were all about.
Her comment when I was done talking was "Since we already found the big fat street that leads to the Devil, I want to go and find that skinny street that leads to Heaven when we get back from Disney World."
Tomorrow is the last day of music camp and then the performance tomorrow night! I will try to post some pictures of it when we get home. Also the girls have their dance recital this weekend! So I will DEFINITELY be posting some pictures of that also!
