2nd Doctor's Appointment

I had my second OB appointment today. I got to hear the heart beat; it has slowed down a bit.
170-9 weeks
156- 13 weeks
I gained 2 pounds since my last appointment! YEAH, I was super worried about this. When I was pregnant with the girls, I would always leave the doctor disappointed because I would gain like 6 pounds every month!!! I have a few things that we are going to be watching in my blood work but nothing to be too alarmed about right now.
I have one more appointment in 4 weeks and then 2 weeks later we will have a sonogram to find out what the baby is!!!
Any guesses?

On another note: Madalyn has already started dearly missing her Kindergarten teacher. She asks nearly everyday if she can go to her house! She remembers very well---when we left school the last day, her teacher told her that she was welcome at her house anytime she wanted to come over and play with her daughters. Maybe in a few days we will see about that!

Madalyn and her wonderful Kindergarten Teacher

Beginning or the school year!

Last Day of School!

Today was Madalyn's last day as a Kindergartner. Mark, Loraly, my parents, and me attended graduation and it was fun and a little sad. After the ceremony we went back to Madalyn's classroom and took pics with her teacher, told friends bye, and gave her teacher her present. The hardest part for me was when her teacher started telling Madalyn bye and started crying. I am getting teary eyed just writing about it. Of course after she started crying so did I. She then hugged me goodbye and said how wonderful Madalyn is and how much she will miss her!
Mark and I are so grateful for such an awesome teacher and the beginning to Madalyn's education she has given her! She will be a very hard teacher to follow next year in 1st grade!

We love you Mrs. H and will miss you!

Baby Names...

I have to write about the funniest baby name story ever to happen to us: we can't ever agree on a girl's name. I love Presley; Mark loves Trinity. So he has agreed on Presley but we can't come up with a middle name. Both of my other girls middle names are 4 letters long and end in an A. So I thought well, I have to keep this going even though we didn't even mean to start it. So here it goes: my friend Lacy and I were discussing middle names today and I asked for her help. I told her (it just came out of the blue) that I liked Presley Grace. She loved it also! So I emailed Mark and told him that I liked it. He emailed back and said "Great, everyone will call our daughter Elvis." It took a few minutes, but think on it...YES Graceland! Man am I an idiot! And if you know me I love Elvis and I have turned my girls into Elvis lovers also.
We even played an Elvis song as our processional in our wedding! HA

Back to the drawing board!
Any ideas???

The BEACH!

We had a lovely early vacation in Fort Lauderdale, Florida over the last weekend. We spent 5 days there and enjoyed each day more and more (except for the last which we had to come home). The girls love the beach and could live there, of course Mark and I could too! We spent time in the pool, the beach, lovely restaurants--- http://www.bucadibeppo.com/ , and of course spent some time with great friends! This restaurant is family served and they have the BEST salad and lasagna!!!! We have found out that there is one is Austin, so I am sure we will have to drive down there some day to have this wonderful food again. We miss the beach and can't wait to go back! Fort Lauderdale is the most beautiful beach we have been to so far. It will definitely be hard to beat.

1st Doctor's Appointment

Well, I had my first OB appointment Wednesday. It went well. I got to hear the baby's heartbeat and it was strong! The doctor and I are debating on whether it is a boy or girl! Ha---we don't really care! Either way would be fun---girl would be easy because we already have 2, a boy would be fun because it would be different but that would also make it hard! We are excited and don't care either way though. I am currently 10 weeks along in my pregnancy. They bumped me up a week when they did the sonogram because of the baby's size, so the due date is now November 30----a THANKSGIVING BABY!

A LONG, Interesting Pregnancy Week...

Well, after being nauseated for the last 3-4 weeks, I will have to admit----I HAD A HORRIBLE WEEK starting Sunday. I woke up congested, and throwing up nonstop! I thought for sure it was a stomach bug and the drainage wasn't helping either.
To make a long story short, after 3 days straight of this, I went to my doctor Wednesday morning. They immediately admitted me into the hospital. I was dehydrated and on top of that I had a bladder infection! I spent the night there, got lots of I.V. hydration, and some antibiotics. I was sent home Thursday morning still not feeling 100%. But today I feel a lot better as long as I take it easy and don't do too much.
The best part of all of this was that Mark and I got to see the baby and hear the heart beat!

Today was Madalyn's Kindergarten field trip to the zoo. Mark and I decided to go and help out. We had a good time with the 3 girls we were in charge of.
Wow---three girls, we MAY be having to do this on a regular basis in about 7 months!
Madalyn and one of the girls, Camryn, insisted on having their picture taken by this huge, nasty rattle snake. His rattle and tongue were going crazy. We thought he was going to charge the window while they were sitting there looking at him. We were having so much fun that we didn't realize it was already time to meet back with their teacher! We were about to let the girls play on the playground because we thought for sure we were done early! Thank goodness Mark told me to check the time!
All in all we had a really fun day with our oldest daughter, Madalyn!
