Fortune Cookies

We went to eat Chinese food tonight--first time in about a year. We love Chinese food but while I was pregnant, I couldn't even stand the smell much less the taste! So Mark and the girls were thrilled that I finally offered to eat there!
After we ate, the waitress brought us fortune cookies--mine itself was pretty lucky because there were 2 in the package!
Madalyn opened hers and read it aloud--'Someone you know loves you very much!'
She then said "Oh NO!" Mark and I were stunned---"What is it," we both asked?
She said "It must be Braden at school!"
"What must be Braden?", we asked. She then explained to us that her fortune cookie said that someone loves her very much, and I told her that it was talking about her daddy and me! She said no, it is talking about Braden in her class! because he always chases her and when he catches her, he just stares at her! I told her it is because he thinks she is so pretty!
She giggled!
MY DAUGHTER THINKS THAT A LITTLE BOY LOVES HER!
What is up with these 1st graders?!

I don't really care to see myself in pictures but I love a picture of a sweet, sleeping baby!

Misc...

This picture shows my children's personalities:
Madalyn-prim, perfect, always trying to please...
Loraly-can't be still, wanting her toys, and doesn't like taking pictures...
Sophie-just being a sweet little baby!

AND SOPHIE!
She went to sleep last night around 11:30 and didn't wake up at all until 7:00 this morning!

Note to self...

Don't let 4 year old watch Harry Potter before bed.

She actually only watched like 5 minutes of it and passed out asleep. But around 3 this morning until 5:30 she was having night terrors about snakes.

Screaming...crying...scared out of her mind...seeing snakes all over the house...
Needless to say, I had to finally just hold her tight in my arms until she finally went back to sleep---with Mark and I!
My parents with the girls...
--really good picture, probably because of the photographer;)--

All 5 of us after church this morning:

--not the best pic of us but it will do...only because of the subjects not the photographer;)--

Mom's know and hear EVERYTHING!

So as I type this, I am listening to Madalyn and Loraly in the living room. They are trying to decide on a movie to watch together. Supposedly Loraly is tossing each movie she doesn't want to watch; Madalyn says "Loraly, act like a lady and lay the movies that you don't want to watch down, don't throw them like an old man!"

HILARIOUS! (oh she is so her mother...)

Mark and I always tell the girls "to act like a lady."

So Mark and I are pretty well rested today! Sophie went to bed at 9:30, slept until around 7:30 this morning and only woke up every 2 hours to eat and was right back to sleep. This was wonderful to us because lately she hasn't been going to bed until midnight or later!

Sophie getting ready to go out in the cold thinking 'what are they doing to me!'

And then trying to make the best out of the situation...

before bed last night-all dressed up in her pink, still trying to get rid of the baby acne--any solutions anyone?

I'm in the ADVERTISING business...

So I hate to buy things full price...especially for the girls because stores put things on sale about 2-3 weeks after they get them in stock anyways.

So I hit The Children's Place 4 times in the last week and a half.
Today we drove to the outlet mall in Hillsboro and hit their Children's place (considering I have been to Waco's twice and Round Rock's once). Little to say---I think I may be addicted to their sale!

So to get on with the sale---I bought $390.00 worth of clothes just today for the sale price of $154! All three girls have a load of winter clothes for next year! Like I said I love sales and this is a great one! They have their sale prices marked, then it is 50% off that price, and I have an addition coupon for another 15% off, and once again on top of that I have another coupon from my last receipt for an additional 15% off!!! AWESOME!

Example:
Sophie got a Cheetah Girl ballerina halloween costume for only 77 cents!!!!
