Contractions ALREADY and the eBay downfall

The night before last I had one small contraction. Not a big deal except that this never happened with either of my other 2 pregnancies. Then last night for about 2 hours I had some pretty hard contractions. I am only 29 weeks---this should not be happening yet!
Hopefully just Braxton (sp?) Hicks or a fluke...

Let me start of by saying I am a huge fan of eBay! I love getting great deals!
I am not sure if I wrote about the girls tearing Sophie's crib bumper.

YES--they were in trouble! She is not even here to enjoy her beautiful bed and it is already torn! So I contacted the maker of the bedding to see if we could purchase a replacement bumper. I got an email back this morning and come to find out the girls actually did us a favor by tearing the bumper! IT WAS RECALLED because of the beautiful sheer overlay tearing and choking babies! So they are now in the process of seeing if they can get me a FREE replacement because of the recall. Can you believe the luck of things!?
Please pray for no more contractions and for a replacement bumper to be heading our way!

Where are my feet?

It is official----I CAN'T SEE MY FEET!

Oh the joys of being pregnant! Don't get me wrong I love being pregnant but every women knows that during your third trimester you reach a point where you feel like a beached whale!

I went to the doctor today for my second ultrasound to check my placenta. Looks to be that it has fixed itself. Good news but we will get the real deal news from the doctor in 2 weeks. It was fun getting to see how much Sophie has changed! She has little chubby cheeks! The ultrasound technician said---Looks like she is still a girl! My thought was---WELL I HOPE SO! Not that I wouldn't want a boy, but HELLO----would that not be the weirdest thing in the world to find out that what you thought was a sweet baby girl is now a stinky BOY (as Loraly would say)! What would we do!? Anyway I go back in 2 weeks for my regular doctors visit and I will be 30 weeks! Can you believe it?!

WOW---has this pregnancy flown by! (needless to say I still have 12 weeks to go!)

Such a teaser!

I was sitting on the couch tonight and I put a blanket under Mark's shirt to make his tummy look like Mommy's. I called Loraly over there and told her to look at Daddy's tummy. She then quickly turned and looked at me and asked if baby Sophie came out? and then looked at her Daddy and asked him if baby Sophie was in his tummy now!
HILARIOUS!
She had this totally shocked look on her face! PRICELESS!

Paul

Read the latest passage from Paul's dad: www.paulsaxon.com
It is heart wrenching and oh so beautiful at the same time.
Keep the prayers for them coming!

Did he say UNDERWEAR?

We were sitting in church this morning and the preacher said something----to my best knowledge I could not remember what he had just said because of what happened next.

Madalyn obviously was listening to him because she said in a regular tone voice----Did he just say UNDERWEAR? And it was quiet enough in church for others around us to hear her. I laughed inside for so long that I can't remember what exactly he was trying to say!

After the 1st day of school and the MOCK first day pic!

So Madalyn had a really good first day of school. I asked her what her teacher told them, and she said she couldn't remember because she told them too much!

She came home from school looking like this (AND STARVING):

So I finally got my around about first day of school picture with Madalyn and her teacher! You can kind of tell it is not the first day because Madalyn looks pretty tired, which she was!

1st day of 1st grade

Madalyn was up and awake at 6:30 all on her own this morning. She had breakfast, got dressed, we fixed her hair, and Mark took a picture of her. She looked absolutely beautiful! So we were heading out the door, got to school, and I told Mark to hold the camera because I was trying to take care of Loraly and hold Madalyn's hand. He informed me that he didn't bring it!!!! I was a little upset---to say the least. It was too late to go home and get it...So we went ahead and went in and dropped Madalyn off. She gave me a kiss, hugged her sister, and off she went! WITHOUT A PICTURE OF HER AND HER TEACHER ON THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL. I know, not that big of a deal, but I am such a memory type person. And I had looked forward to doing`this since the camera didn't work on meet the teacher night last week. SO I am having a hard morning but hopefully I can get one tomorrow morning and we can just pretend it was the first day of school picture. I am sure Madalyn has a much better day than mine started out...
