Houston-We have a problem!

Well, we are either going to have to put Sophie in her crib in her own room or move her port a crib into our room. She has decided that it is a must to sleep on her tummy. I put her down for a nap this afternoon in her bed and this is how I found her a few minutes later:
So tonight I had her asleep in my arms and tried to lay her into her cradle. She would have no part of it. She started flipping and trying to turn over. So I moved the baby back support thingy out of the way and flipped her over and she was and still is as happy as can be!

Today I found Sophie and about 8 nurses loving on her!

So Sophie hasn't been acting herself again lately. So I decided to take her back to the doctor today.

Symptoms:

Sleepless nights!

No appetite

Slight fever

Runny green, bloody nose

Fussiness

And number one-pulling her ears!

Verdict: Double Ear Infections! Yes I know, we were just at the doctors 15 days ago to be exact. He said that he thought that maybe the antibiotics just weren't strong enough so we got STRONGER antibiotics this time around. Poor little girl has been sick enough in her not even 5 months of life! We need to get her a break from being sick!

So while sitting in the waiting room for over 30 minutes and no telling how long in the actual room waiting for the Doctor, I needed to use the restroom! How do you use the restroom when you are by yourself with a small baby and you don't have anywhere to sit them?

Well, when the doctor finally left, I just asked the nurse (that I know very well from being there at least 2 times a month_ if she would mind holding her while I used the restroom. She was more than thrilled to love on my sweet baby for a minute or two. When I came out of the restroom, there were around 8 nurses standing around oohing and aahing over Sophie. But when she spotted her Mommy--that bottom lip came out quickly!

That girl sure does love her Mommy!

Now to get Sophie well...

Oprah? and Christmas in April?

A few things I have overheard in my house:

1. Madalyn told Loraly Friday to move out of the way and be quiet because she was watching Oprah??!!
(the Jonas Brothers were on there--but since when did my 7 year old know who the Jonas Brothers are?)

2. The girls decided to watch "The Polar Express" Saturday night. And ever since Loraly has been singing Christmas songs (not that this is unusual in our house-they love Christmas music, movies, and especially singing Christmas songs), and they have even made their CHRISTMAS LISTS! They decided that their American Girl dolls need furniture! Are you kidding me?! Have you ever priced American girl furniture? Because they don't want just any of the furniture, they want their dolls to have bunk beds to match the ones that they also want for Christmas!

Boy--Santa better have a big bag for the FURNITURE my girls want!

sleeping in her leggings

She is getting too big for her cradle! SOOO SAD! I am not ready to move her to her room yet. It is all the way across the house from our room and she is still getting up around 2-3 times a night. I thought about moving her port a crib into our room but I guess I should just face it--she is plenty big to sleep in her own crib in her OWN room! I just don't know if I am ready...

Crafts and Leggings

Craft #1: I was wandering around Hobby Lobby one day and saw these framed crosses made out of buttons. I thought "HOW CUTE!" They had a few different colors but none that would match Sophie's room decor. So leave it to me---I AM GOING TO MAKE MY OWN! And that is just what I did! The background of the cross matches the next picture. The bible in the picture was Sophie's Easter present from my parents and her name is engraved on it! VERY SWEET. The other girls have the same bible as well.
Craft #2: I finally finished Sophie Coming Home picture. In here is her coming home from the hospital dress and bow, her birth announcement, a picture of her at birth, and her name (of course). I used large scrapbooking paper for the background and it matches the background of the cross above.
A friend of mine had these leggings made for Sophie. THANKS again Lacy!
I know, I know the outfit is mismatched but the leggings were a last minute idea. Sophie doesn't like to have her legs covered up at night so I thought this was a good idea to keep her legs warm without having to wear long pajamas.

CLOSE UP OF THE LEGGINGS!
(at the top are bumblebees-very cute and I'm loving the bumblebees!)

Luvies

WE CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT OUR LUVIES!

It all started with Madalyn. She was about 5 months old and we were shopping at a Disney store. She lunged out of her stroller and towards this pooh bear blankie. So of course, being first time parents (like that matters-we would have bought it no matter what number parents we were) we bought it and she has been attached to it ever since. Still in pretty good shape considering it is 7 years old!

When Loraly came around, we knew we had to get her a luvie also because these things are amazing! So she got the bunny! You can see how ratted and torn her is---or should I say how "LOVED" it is. We still can't go anywhere without it!

And of course we couldn't leave Sophie out! . She got the lamb. Notice the trend-all three girls have pink animals but they had to be different animals. Sophie hasn't become too attached to hers but she does enjoy loving it every once in a while.

to go private or not to---that is the question...

I have received 2 comments from people that I don't know. It makes me feel a little uneasy. The first time it happened, once I opened the comment it totally messed up my entire blog and I had to correct TONS of things. Then I got a comment today that was from someone that I don't know but luckily I have set my settings to where I have to view the comment before it is posted, so when I received the email, I immediately deleted it when I realized that it was from someone I have no clue of who they are. And now I am scared to open up unwanted comments from people that I don't know because it may mess things up on my computer. I don't want to sound ungrateful for comments because I love them from friends and even friends I only know from blogger but I don't want to jeopardize my family's safety.
Is going private the way to go these days?
